Photography (Posted 6/10/2012)

A few people have commented that they like the photos in the blog so I thought that I would make this blog entry a collection of some random photos we have recently taken.

This is a photo of the dinghy dock and the clock tower at our "summer home" anchorage at Bradenton Beach on Anna Maria Island:

This heron posed in a tree for me:

This is a shot of the Longboat Key Pass taken on one of our walks to Coquina Park at the end of Anna Maria Island:

The wild peacocks on Longboat Key are very tame and always willing to pose for a photo. Couldn't get him to "shake his tail feathers" for us though:

Boats resting at anchor in the Longboat Key anchorage:

The was taken through our window. Do you think maybe the floating wedding chapel was passing just a wee bit close to our anchored boat?!

Enchantress (in the center) playing with her friends and patiently waiting for us while we are ashore. This was taken with the telephoto on max so not as sharp as I would like but taken from on shore quite aways away.

This is the "Good Gurl Annie". When it came in and anchored near us I knew that Linda was going to go nuts! She LOVES tugboats and thinks they are all very cute!! Sure enough when I told her to "Look at this", she started cooing at it and wanted to pet it!! I have to admit that it is darn cute for a powerboat!

I believe that 'tug' pic is a Lord Nelson Victory Tug.

Hey Larry, we just passed by there Friday 6/15 on our way to Sarasota, tried hailing you on ch 16 and searched for Enchantress, didn't see her in the anchorage. We are on our way to Palm Island, maybe we'll see y'all on the return trip?
