A Room With A View! (Posted 11/14/20011)

As we cruise the waterways we see lots of waterfront property. But sometimes we see something really DIFFERENT! We recently went to another anchorage to fill up with water, fuel and get the holding tank pumped out at a marina.  There are high-rise condo buildings (a dime a dozen in Florida!) around the cove where we anchor. Well, here are a couple of photos of some of the most unusual "penthouses" we have seen:

Yup, folks, those are LARGE single family homes on the roofs of 15 story high-rise condo buildings! Even in today's housing market they each sell for over a million dollars. I suspect that they have a "room with a view"!

Now, as you all know, we don't have waterFRONT property, we live ON the water! So.....we have a changing view all the time. Here are some of our views:

So, as you can see, we have a "room with a view" and the view is ever changing. And the land dwellers get to look out of their "room with a view" and when they are really lucky they can see that pretty little sailboat, Enchantress, anchored in their view! (BIG GRIN)
