We flew to Connecticut on December 17th for a two week visit for Olivia's sixth birthday and for Christmas. After we arrived we had plenty of snow and cold weather with a total accumulation of snow of 15 inches and temps as low as 4 degrees!!!
Except for the weather, we had a great visit with Amy, Mark, Olivia and Laura. Olivia's birthday party was at the children's science museum with twelve of her school friends. We had a great Christmas with family and an opportunity to see some old friends as well.
We flew back to Florida on New Years Eve, leaving in a snow storm, the plane having to be de-iced! We were glad to escape with our lives and return to PARADISE and warm weather!!!!!
We have settled back into life onboard and in the harbor. Lots of new boats arrived while we were away. The harbor is almost full (over 250 boats now).
Today we went sailing. A perfect sailing day, sunny, 75 to 80 degrees, wind 10+ knots, waves one to two feet, emerald green water, heaven on earth!!!!!
